The positive summer vibes continue throughout September in Portovenere, where the panoramic terrace of Venus Bar will host three music concerts with an original twist. Each evening will feature a different cocktail created by the barmen specifically for that musical event.
The cocktails will be prepared with some special ingredients, including the Essentiae liqueurs by local winery and “opificio” (liqueur workshop) Lvnae Bosoni.

Liqueur Tastings
In occasion of the “Cocktail & Music” nights you can also enjoy liqueur tastings at Venus Bar, trying the best spirits by Essentiae. This company is the result of the collaboration of two local entrepreneus: Diego Bosoni, wine grower and producer with the family company Cantine Lunae in Colli di Luni, and Fiorella Stoppa, who has been producing artisanal liqueurs since the 1970s with her workshop in La Spezia.
Essentiae produces liqueurs by following natural methods and ancient recipes of Liguria’s Mediterranean tradition. Every stage of the process – from the preparation of the infusions to the labelling – is carried out by hand, and supervised personally by Diego Bosoni and Fiorella Stoppa. The liqueurs are prepared with raw materials of the highest quality, often grown locally and exclusively in the season of their harvest. The processing of these raw materials is done with the ancient method of cold infusion, without the use of dyes and preservatives.
