More than 140 exhibitor countries and 20 million expected visitors: it’s the world’s largest fair – Expo Milano 2015 – centered on the theme “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”.
Milan’s Universal Exposition takes place from 1 May until 31 October 2015. It provides a unique and international platform for the exchange of ideas and shared solutions on the theme of food, stimulating creativity and promoting innovation for a sustainable future.
Visitors at Expo 2015 will have the opportunity to find out about and taste the world’s best dishes, while discovering the best of the agri-food and gastronomic traditions of each of the exhibitor countries.
Liguria at Expo Milano
All of Italy’s regions will get the chance to shine and showcase their gastronomic heritage and projects for sustainability. Liguria will be the main protagonist from the 11th to the 16th of September, when it will lead international events programmed in the auditorium of the ‘Padiglione Italia’ pavilion.
For 4 weeks – from 22nd May to 18th June – Liguria will rotate with other regions and use the exhibition space to present its identity through traditional activities such as agriculture, fishing, sailing, cooking, and through themes like innovation, territory and hospitality.
Throughout the duration of the event, there is a permanent representative office of Liguria at Expo Milano inside Palazzo Italia.
