Although Liguria and the Gulf of Poets are fascinating in any season of the year, the blossoming season attracts more visitors – a trend that continues and takes off as the temperatures get warmer and warmer. And as travelers arrive and explore, few resist the urge to share photos of their break in this beautiful destination. This is the name for the row of slim, colorful buildings facing the sea front and the harbor of Portovenere.

One of the best ways to appreciate the beauty of Portovenere and of the surrounding Gulf of Poets and neighboring Cinque Terre, is by sailing the waters of eastern Liguria, either on the daily public ferry boats or by renting private boats and yachts.
